We are in the final stretch of school, just 3 weeks left.  We just finished a NWEA math test and I am proud to report that all the kids "grew" with flying colors.  I know testing can be hard, but at the end of the year, even harder.  

This final stretch we are also learning about all types of weather.  Some of the information can be scary, but we are talking about how to be safe in all weather types.  

We are learning how to tell time to the hour and the half hour.  I introduced the quarter hour, but that can be a little confusing.  The kiddos have be introduced to multiplication and fractions.  We are ending the year with money and adding to 100.  

Religion we loved celebrating The Living Stations, Easter, First Communion, May Crowning and now we are learning about Jesus sending the Holy Spirit.  I love that the kids have so many questions about their faith and that we can take the time each day to talk, learn and pray.

I can't forget to brag about our Rainforest Animal project.  The kids were asked to bring in recyclables, and did they ever.  The kids researched about a given animal and then they had to build the animal out of the recycled materials.  They worked hard together and came up with some really creative animals.

We are looking forward to our summer and the Little Flower Festival.
