Mr. Lilienkamp's Classroom Page

I am very happy to be at Little Flower School this year!

A few things about me:

My own childhood education was through Indianapolis Catholic Schools, at Christ the King School, and Bishop Chatard High School. I remember very well coming to Little Flower School for big CYO city-wide hobby and science fairs as a student in elementary school. It was a big deal back then, and I remember the Little Flower Gym seeming like such an expansive, massive space to me.

I attended Indiana University, and I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. I also have a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Marian University. I have a varied work and professional background that includes a career change to teaching. Before I began teaching, I worked as a graphic designer. I made a profession, or career change, from graphic design & marketing to teaching.

I have been teaching in many different roles over the past 19 years. I taught Grade 2 at Little Flower last year, and taught Grade 3 the previous few years at Holy Cross School. I have taught in many grades, and especially in grades Kindergarten, Grades 1, and Grade 3.

I am a life learner, and I am always looking for ways to learn new things, and to grow and stretch myself. Things that I love the most are art, nature, animals, fish tanks, and the outdoors. My hobbies are running, cycling, hiking, camping, gardening, and traveling to new places. I was born in Indiana, and raised in Indianapolis. I care very much about my city and my community. I want to pass on that love and care for our different communities to my students.

Thank you for welcoming me into a new community!
